Colouring in Page

A PAPER RAIN COLOURING COMPETITION FOR THE APRIL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!

Check out our range of free colouring in pages - just download, print and colour. You don't need to purchase anything to be able to download these prints, but you will need to go through the basic checkout process.

Just select a colouring page (or a few!) and add it to your cart. When you're ready, click the cart and checkout. You won't be charged anything and after checkout you'll see a link to download. You'll also get a link via email.

To enter the competition we need to see your kids work! Post and tag us on Facebook or Instagram (@paperrain.nz) and use the hashtag #paperrain so we can track the entries - we can't wait to see them!

There are prizes too - we have two categories, under fives and over fives. Each category will win a Honeysticks art supply and a Paper Rain kids tee.

Entries close 23 April 2023. Good luck and happy colouring!

Please note - these downloads are only to be used as colouring in pages. Our artists have done us a solid and allowed us to create these for you but they must not be reproduced, used for sale, or adapted. The only intended use is for your colouring in pleasure!

The talented hand behind the striking images of Bailey’s Alchemy, Emmaline Bailey is a self taught artist.

After quitting her day job almost nine years ago, Emmaline took a giant leap of faith... to chase her passion. Known mostly for her eclectic mix of the mystical and macabre, Emmaline has a classically pretty style. Look around and you’ll see her pop-surrealist work feature in numerous collaborations around the store.

Emmaline lives in Auckland with her partner, Tony (aka Sneaky Studios) and her young sons, Charlie & Albie.

Where do we start with Phil? We found him creating some of the most beautifully detailed pencil work we have ever seen. Phil Constantinesco was born in France but now lives & works in Brussels. A digital illustrator by trade he also spends as much time as he can drawing with pencil under his brand ‘Faunesque’. Why Faunesque? Simply because of his long-time interest in flora and fauna (although ‘simply’ does not quite cut it, as his drawings are purposefully complex!)

“A graffiti artist with a fine art degree, Flox first made her mark in Auckland. Her trademark native birds, ferns and flowers magically transform grey walls into vibrant depictions of the natural world. FLOX’s work is seriously groundbreaking in terms of stencil making, wall-covering, spray- painting & hand-cutting goodness.

We were drawn to Hayley/Flox’s adoption of the 19th Century’s value in “craftsmanship over cheap sleazy mass production” which rings true within our own business practices. We worked with Hayley to create a limited series of Formosan Bear barrel boards and beautiful limited edition art-wear.

Years ago, we fell in love with Katy’s detailed, pencil-like style. We share a mutual love of native flora and fauna ~ all things naturally NZ. Katy is a Kiwi tattoo artist who is dedicated to creating beautiful and original custom art for the body. With the most delicate, intricate details, Katy’s illustrations and tattoo artworks are like no other. Working from her art studio on the Tutukaka Coast in Whangarei, Katy draws (and inks!) surrounded by ocean views, nature and birds. Her unique style brings people from far and wide, all with enough love for her art to have it indelibly etched into their skin.

A roaming artist raised on the streets of Stoke, both home & travel are close to Monique’s heart. For Mon, the pencil has taken over & she’s been creating a series of intricate and often humorous work. Living in Barcelona changed the direction of her art dramatically, seeing human faces replaced by lions and lightbulbs, and paper largely replacing canvas.

Monique can also been found prettying up local lane ways with her street art. She simply loves what she does, and her biggest problem is that she can’t draw, or paint, fast enough. A store favourite, Monique has painted several #oneofone board artworks with Paper Rain.

Originally from Rio De Janeiro - Brazil, Ricardo followed a kiwi to Aotearoa in 2016.

He’s a tattoo artist who began studying our country’s quirky, endangered native wildlife soon after he arrived. He struggles to pronounce the ‘th’ in ‘thought’ & ‘teeth’ and though he misses the warm seas of his homeland he has happily embraced the classic kiwi pie.
